Employment Information

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals and operational objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and staff documentation.
  • Oversee employee relations and handle workplace issues, disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, company regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, attendance, leave management, and HR databases.
  • Coordinate staff training, performance evaluations, career development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support department heads with workforce planning, staffing needs, and performance improvement strategies.
  • Develop and enforce company policies, workplace ethics, and operational procedures.
  • Manage payroll coordination, employee benefits administration, and HR reporting.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and performance-driven organisational culture.
  • Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and workplace conduct across departments.
  • Lead HR audits and ensure proper documentation for regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Recommend and implement strategies for improving staff retention, motivation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of proven HR management experience, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR best practices, and performance management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI will be an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 450,000 - 600,000
