- This internship opportunity offers a comprehensive 6-month training program focused on developing strong competencies in bid and tender preparation within a technology consulting environment. Interns will work closely with experienced bid Manager.
- The objective is to equip interns with hands-on experience in preparing competitive bids, coordinating tender documentation, supporting proposal development, and understanding end-to-end IT solution delivery frameworks. By the end of the program, interns will be well-prepared to support full bid cycles and contribute effectively to tendering and proposal development activities for ICT projects.
Reporting Structure
This role reports to the designated Bid/Tender Manager, who will act as the intern’s supervisor and mentor throughout the program.
Duration
- The internship spans six 6 months.
- First 3 months: Intensive training on bid preparation, proposal writing, tender compliance requirements, documentation standards. Interns will undergo continuous assessments to evaluate their understanding of bid processes and proposal development.
- Remaining 3 months: Practical involvement in live tenders and proposal assignments under the guidance of Bid Manager.
- High-performing interns will be considered for absorption into Green Com as Bid & Tender Assistants or Pre-Sales Support Officers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing tender documents, proposals, pre-qualification responses, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with bid managers, project teams, and associate consultants to gather technical, financial, and administrative inputs for tender submissions.
- Participate in all pre-bid sessions and assessments related to tendering, proposal writing, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all bid content with client requirements and tender specifications.
- Support the development of technical and financial schedules under supervision.
- Gain a solid understanding of Green Com’s business solutions, services, and value propositions to support proposal writing.
- Participate in internal innovation projects aimed at improving bidding efficiency and quality.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned within ongoing tender and pre-sales activities.
