Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and processing customer fuel orders
- Capturing and releasing orders within the ordering workflow system
- Following up on on-hold orders and outstanding payments prior to delivery dates
- Conducting cash checks and releasing orders upon approved payment confirmation
- Handling customer account queries and reconciliations
- Managing back-order reporting and clearing orders once confirmations are received
- Assisting sales representatives with volume reports and pricing confirmations
- Following up with Logistics regarding released but unplanned orders
- Monitoring and responding to customer emails and enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Assisting the Logistics team with route planning and truck capacity optimisation
- Participating in a rotating after-hours standby schedule (1 week per month)
Minimum requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- 1–3 years’ experience in Internal Sales or Administration
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
