At Core Group Africa, we represent some of the world’s leading technology brands across Africa. We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Junior Account Manager to support and grow relationships with our distribution and reseller partners.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, relationship management and sales support, and who wants to build a career in account management within a fast-paced distribution environment.
As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure strong operational execution, sales growth and excellent partner experience across your portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the management and growth of assigned distribution and reseller partner accounts.
- Building strong day-to-day relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting with sales planning, forecasting and account performance tracking.
- Coordinating pricing, stock availability, promotions and order management with relevant teams.
- Monitoring partner sales performance and identifying growth opportunities.
- Assisting partners with product information, sales tools and operational support.
- Supporting the execution of campaigns, launches and partner initiatives.
- Preparing reports, presentations and account updates for management and partners.
- Following up on queries, escalations and operational issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintaining accurate account records, pipeline updates and partner communication.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years’ experience in account management, sales support, customer relationship management or distribution environments.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially aware with a strong interest in technology and consumer electronics.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Good analytical and reporting capability.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience within technology, retail, distribution or FMCG industries advantageous.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.
