MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Pastel accounting experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Packhouse experience will be an advantage
- Studying for a finance or Accountant degree or diploma will be advantageous
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Capture and process supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements with creditor ledger balances
- Prepare payment batches and ensure timely supplier payments
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end procedures, reconciliations, and reporting
- Capture and reconcile bank transactions, petty cash, and debit card expenses
- Maintain finance and compliance documentation and filing
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Perform creditor age analysis, cash book reconciliation, and reporting on Pastel
