RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

The Junior Draftsperson will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team and should be comfortable working at an adjustable table and computer terminal. Office based work woth occational travels to site.

• 
  
• Following specifications and calculations issued by the design draftsperson or engineers to update or create various technical drawings.
  
• Marking up drawings and detailing work from general arrangements using 3D CADD systems.
  
• Communicating with design draftspersons, and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  
• Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
  
• Ensuring final designs are compliant with good engineering practices and specified regulations.
  
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  
• Any other tasks required by management
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  
• 3D computer-aided design package training and certification.
  
• Experience in 3D computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), specifically SolidWorks.
  
• Experience in 3D pipe routing, plant & equipment drafting, including basic structures.
  
• Ability to draw manually for site work.
  
• Ability to work well in a team and to show initiative.
  
• Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
