Wine farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to employ a Junior Horticulturist. We are looking for an honest, hardworking and reliable candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned position.
Requirements:
Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
Computer literate ( specifically MS Office)
Must have own transport
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Good organisation skills
Excellent leadership skills
Tertiary qualification - Diploma in Horticulture
3 years’ experience in a similar role
Duties include:Provide assistance with general garden maintenance and activities
Assist with various garden projects
Assist management with the production of :
- honey
- olives
- fruit
- vegetables
- herbs
- cut flowers
- nursery
- composting and waste
Regular inspections on garden equipment
Assist in the daily management of garden employees
