Junior Investment actuarial

We have an amazing opportunity for a Junior Investment Actuarial Analyst at a leading investment and actuarial consulting firm based in Midrand!

The main purpose of this role is:

-        To provide analytical and reporting support to the investment consultants, including performance reporting, portfolio monitoring, data analysis, and ensuring the smooth execution of investment processes. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual keen to develop their skills and grow within the investment team.

We require a candidate with:

•           A numerically orientated degree (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Management, Computer Science)

•           0–2 years’ experience

•           Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels

•           Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills

•           Programming skills in Python, R, or SQL (advantageous)

•           An interest in investments and financial markets

•           Highly analytical mindset

•           Proactive team player

•           Knowledge of Refinitiv or similar market systems (advantageous)
