Job Title:Junior Oracle Developer
Job Purpose
The Junior Oracle Developer is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle-based applications and database solutions under the guidance of Senior Developers. The role contributes to project delivery while building technical expertise within Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Oracle Development
- Develop and maintain Oracle database objects including:
- Tables
- Views
- Procedures
- Functions
- Packages
- Triggers
- Create and maintain PL/SQL code.
- Support data migration and integration activities.
- Develop Oracle Forms, Reports, and APEX applications where required.
Application Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot application and database issues.
- Assist with system enhancements and change requests.
- Participate in system upgrades and deployments.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing.
- Identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in code reviews and implement recommendations.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Senior Developers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business users.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and project activities.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications and solutions.
Learning & Development
- Continuously enhance Oracle technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Participate in training and certification initiatives.
- Adopt development standards and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Oracle certifications advantageous.
Experience
- 3–5 years of Oracle development experience.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development.
- Exposure to enterprise applications and support environments.
