Job Details

Job Purpose:

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results in compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and identify the QA/QC samples
  • Apply the sampling procedure
  • Check the environmental parameters for testing
  • Execute the QA/QC tests for fuel marking program by applying the standard operating procedure
  • Execute the tests to control the analytical instrument status
  • Perform the preventive maintenance of the analytical instrument
  • Perform the daily cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory
  • Report the test results
  • Report the Fuel marker inventory data
  • Store the QA/QC samples in a controlled environment

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a laboratory environment
  • Experience within chemistry industry is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
  • Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities
