Land Surveyor (Construction)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys for construction projects.
• Set out reference points, grids, and benchmarks based on architectural and engineering drawings.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment including Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, drawings, and data sheets.
• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure alignment with design plans.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignments during excavation, foundation, and structural works.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate survey records and update project databases.

Requirement

• Minimum 6–9 years of proven experience as a Land Surveyor in construction building or civil works.
• HND or BSC. in Geoinformatics, Surveying,  or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and survey software.
• COREN registration or membership with NIS Nigerian Institution of Surveyors is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Abuja some travel to project locations may be required
