LITIGATION AND ADVISORY ASSOCIATE
About the Role
Harare based Law Firm is seeking an admitted Legal practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public to handle property-related litigation and provide advisory services to the firm’s clients. You will manage a portfolio of disputes, draft legal documents, appear in court, and provide written and verbal legal opinions — with a focus on real estate, construction, and commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Handling Real Estate Legal disputes
• Drafting pleadings and Appearing in the Lower and Superior Courts
• Providing legal opinions and advisory
• Maintaining case management records and updating clients on matter progress
Requirements
• Admitted to Practice as a Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public
• 2 to 4 years’ post-admission experience with demonstrable exposure to property or commercial litigation
• Strong Commercial awareness
• Strong legal drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while keeping the partner informed on key developments
