Job Context

  • DP World is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Manager: Key Account to manage and grow strategic customer relationships, enhance customer experience, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. The successful candidate will support the development and execution of account strategies, ensure client satisfaction, and contribute to the achievement of the Business Unit's commercial objectives.

Key Performance Areas KPAs

  • Manage and grow existing key accounts to increase revenue and asset utilisation.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within current customer portfolios.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
  • Support contract negotiations, rate reviews, and implementation of pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and customer engagement meetings.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective logistics solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key account performance metrics and business opportunities.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the identification, reporting, and management of commercial risks.
  • Assist with the implementation of client retention and growth strategies.
  • Contribute to market intelligence gathering, competitor analysis, and customer profiling.
  • Support Finance teams in improving accounts receivable and collection performance.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body such as NIM, CILT, or NIMN will be advantageous.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in Key Account Management, Customer Relationship Management, Sales, or Commercial Operations.
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Sound negotiation and conflict management capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and market analysis capability.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and develop value-added solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
