Direct Reports: Graphic Designer and content


Job Purpose

● Drive category distinction through execution and optimization of the brand strategy across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia.

● Support regional revenue growth through sustained, measurable, and data-driven marketing initiatives (internal and external).

● Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the marketing function, including creative, content, and production teams, ensuring alignment across all regional brand touchpoints.


Main Responsibilities of the Job

● Ensure overall brand custody and consistency across all countries, media platforms, and customer touchpoints.

● Develop and execute relevant marketing strategies and content that support sales growth and brand awareness across the four markets.

● Monitor brand sentiment across regions to identify risks, opportunities, and market-specific insights for the Eezy brand.

● Manage media buying across all markets, ensuring value for money, optimal reach, and achievement of defined KPIs.

● Oversee community management across digital platforms, ensuring consistent engagement and brand positioning.

● Maintain and implement integrated marketing calendars (internal, external, SEO, and communications) across all countries, aligned to business objectives.

● Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team to support performance, career growth, and succession planning.

● Drive corporate and product brand differentiation, top-of-mind awareness, and credibility in all operating markets.

● Manage execution of internal and external campaigns, including production and distribution of marketing collateral.

● Oversee all key brand touchpoints (websites, intranet, social media platforms) to ensure alignment with brand perception and business goals across regions.

● Manage marketing budgets across all countries, ensuring efficient utilization, cost control, and delivery against monthly KPIs.

● Track and evaluate marketing performance to ensure ROI and continuous improvement of strategies.

● Growth in revenue directly attributable to strategic marketing initiatives across all markets.

● Increased and positive brand awareness in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia.

● Strong ROI on marketing spend within approved budgets.

● Consistent compliance with brand guidelines across all regions.

● Full compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements for risk mitigation.

● Monthly Marketing Plan vs Actual Performance Report (M+2)

● Monthly Campaign Performance Report (M+2)

● Monthly Google Business Profile & Website Analytics Report (M+2)

● Monthly Branded Collateral Stock Report

● Monthly Production Report

● Evergreen: Functional onboarding materials, team KPIs, and job descriptions

● Evergreen: Marketing asset repository (lead generation assets, videos, blogs, memos, etc.)

● Regional reporting segmentation (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia)


Minimum Experience Required

● At least 3 years’ experience in marketing and brand management in a sales driven environment


Minimum Level of Academic and Professional Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing or business administration

● CIM Level 6 – Mandatory
