Key Responsibilities for Marketing Officer Jobs in Lusaka Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns aligned with organisational goals. Manage and expand HRLeverage Zambia’s social media platforms and website to enhance engagement.

Create compelling content across digital channels, including articles, blogs, newsletters, graphics, and videos. Execute targeted digital marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and generate leads.

Support business development efforts and client acquisition through focused marketing initiatives. Coordinate marketing activities for major events such as the Zambia Job Expo and other corporate functions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, media houses, and key stakeholders. Assist in sponsorship acquisition, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Prepare press releases, media briefs, and communication materials for organisational events. Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Professional certification in Marketing or Digital Marketing is advantageous.

Membership in a relevant professional body will be considered an asset. At least three (3) years of proven experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or business development.

Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and social media management. Experience organising and promoting exhibitions, conferences, career fairs, or Job Expos.

Track record of working with corporate organisations, educational institutions, government agencies, and development partners. Proven skills in event marketing, sponsorship engagement, and stakeholder management.

Essential Skills and Competencies Ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies. Strong digital marketing and content creation skills.

Experience in brand management and public relations. Competence in event marketing and coordination.

Excellent stakeholder relationship management capabilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Results-oriented mindset with proactive and creative problem-solving approach.
