An experienced (B.SC / B.ENG) MECHANICAL ENGINEER is required for permanent employment based in the North Coast KZN region.
• B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or B.Eng Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years' experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Exposure to heavy engineering, machine building, fabrication or industrial equipment environments preferred.
• Strong AutoCAD + Autodesk Inventor experience essential.
• Solid understanding of mechanical components, materials and tolerances.
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and BOM structures.
• Exposure to ERP systems and SAP advantageous.
• Understanding of fabrication and workshop processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering standards and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Computer literate (MS Office).
• High attention to detail.
• Drivers licence advantageous.
• Stable career history preferred.
