Role Overview

  • Bottleking is hiring a Modern Trade Manager/Executive to drive sales and distribution across supermarkets, hypermarkets, and organized retail chains.
  • This role is responsible for managing key accounts, negotiating listings, driving volume, ensuring execution in-store, and growing Bottleking’s presence across modern trade channels.
  • We are looking for someone who has exisitng relationships with modern trade accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management:

  • Manage relationships with supermarkets and modern trade chains
  • Own negotiations with buying teams pricing, listings, promos, credit terms
  • Ensure product availability, correct pricing, and agreed margins
  • Drive repeat orders and long-term account growth

Sales & Distribution:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for modern trade
  • Expand Bottleking’s footprint across new supermarket chains and outlets
  • Manage product listings, delistings, and SKU rationalization
  • Coordinate stock flow to prevent out-of-stocks

In-Store Execution:

  • Ensure proper shelf placement, visibility, and compliance
  • Support in-store promotions, activations, and campaigns
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and shelf presence

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Forecast demand and coordinate with operations and supply chain
  • Work closely with marketing on promotions and brand campaigns
  • Provide market insights to management

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience in modern trade / key accounts / organized retail
  • Strong relationships with supermarket buying teams
  • Solid understanding of pricing, margins, promotions, and credit terms
  • Experience managing FMCG or beverage categories
  • Strong negotiation and account management skills

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in alcohol or premium beverages
  • Existing book of modern trade accounts
  • Understanding of distributor and direct-to-retail models

  • 20 New modern trade accounts onboarded within 2 months.
