Motorcycle / Quad Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, and quad bikes.

• Repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems, including:
  • Wiring harnesses

  • Batteries and charging systems

  • Starters and alternators

  • Rectifiers and regulators

  • Lighting systems

  • Ignition systems

  • Electronic Control Units (ECUs)

  • Accessories and auxiliary equipment

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and resolve faults.

• Install electrical accessories and aftermarket equipment as required.

• Test repaired systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.

• Maintain accurate service and repair records.

• Adhere to company safety procedures and workshop standards.

• Assist with general workshop activities when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Motorcycle, ATV, Quad, or Automotive Electrician.

• Good understanding of motorcycle and quad electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.

• Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A valid motorcycle and/or driving license will be considered an advantage.

• Relevant technical certification or qualification in Automotive Electrical Systems is preferred.
