Key Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Act as the senior manager on duty, responding to guest enquiries, complaints, and emergencies.
- Lead, supervise, and support the Night Audit, Front Office, Security, and other overnight teams.
- Complete the night audit process accurately and ensure all financial transactions are reconciled.
- Monitor guest arrivals, departures, VIPs, and special requests.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and health and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular security and property inspections throughout the night.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve overnight operational issues.
- Prepare daily operational reports and hand over effectively to the day management team.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in Front Office operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Previous experience as a Night Manager or Night Auditor in a luxury hotel will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and night audit procedures.
- Experience working with Marriott systems (Opera Cloud, GXP, MGS, or similar) will be advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
