Job Overview

• The Nursery School Teacher will nurture young children in a safe, faith-based environment, blending the Lagos State curriculum with Islamic values. The teacher must be creative, knowledgeable in Montessori principles, and skilled in using phonics sounds to teach literacy effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in literacy, numeracy, and general knowledge, integrating Islamic morals.
• Use Montessori methods and phonics-based approaches to foster creativity and foundational skills.
• Support children’s emotional, social, and spiritual growth in line with Islamic teachings.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Conduct assessments and prepare reports on pupil development.

Qualifications

• NCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• TRCN certification preferred.
