Role Summary
- Trainingcred Institute is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support day-to-day office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional office environment, supporting hospitality services, assisting with logistical tasks, and helping ensure smooth workplace operations in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance and Cleaning
- Carry out daily cleaning duties to maintain a clean, orderly, and hygienic office environment.
- Ensure regular tidying of workspaces, emptying of trash bins, and sanitization of high-touch surfaces.
- Perform weekly deep cleaning of shared and high-use areas, including offices, meeting rooms, kitchen areas, and restrooms.
- Monitor cleaning materials and office supplies, and report low stock levels for timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste in line with workplace standards.
Office Security and Safety Support
- Open and close the office premises at designated times as instructed by management.
- Ensure doors, windows, and office equipment are properly secured at the end of each working day.
- Confirm that lights, sockets, and electrical appliances are switched off when not in use and before closing the premises.
- Promptly report any security, safety, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
Office Hospitality and Support Services
- Support hospitality needs during meetings, staff engagements, and internal office events.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and refreshment areas.
- Prepare tea and refreshments for staff, visitors, and meetings as required.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms and ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for use.
Logistics and Errands
- Assist with the collection and delivery of office documents, supplies, parcels, and other office-related items.
- Carry out approved staff errands, including supply pickups and courier services, during working hours and in line with company policies.
- Support office relocations, workspace reconfigurations, event setups, and basic office arrangement tasks.
- Perform any other reasonable duties related to office operations as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in office support, facility maintenance, janitorial work, or operations support.
- Hands-on experience using cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Certification in facility maintenance, workplace safety, OSHA, or related training will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- High level of reliability, honesty, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
