The Paid Media Specialist plays a critical role in driving the company's customer acquisition, brand visibility and
commercial performance through effective paid media planning, campaign execution and ongoing optimisation
across digital channels. This role is responsible for building, managing and refining high-performing campaigns
that support key business objectives while ensuring efficient spend and measurable return.
This is not a hands-off agency management role. We are looking for someone who understands platform
mechanics, audience behaviour, creative testing, conversion journeys and performance analysis. The ideal
candidate can comfortably move between campaign setup, budget allocation, optimisation, reporting and insight
generation while operating within a fast-moving environment.
The role works closely with Brand, CRM, Design, Content, Product and Senior Stakeholders to ensure all paid
activity aligns with brand identity, campaign objectives and broader customer growth strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, build and manage paid media campaigns across relevant digital platforms
• Own budget allocation, pacing and optimisation to maximise performance and efficiency
• Develop channel, audience and bidding strategies aligned to acquisition and retention objectives
• Monitor campaign delivery and identify opportunities to improve click-through rate, conversion rate and
return on ad spend
• Work with creative and content teams to brief, test and optimise ad assets and messaging
• Set up tracking, tagging and reporting requirements in collaboration with analytics and product teams
• Conduct ongoing audience, keyword and competitor analysis to inform campaign decisions
• Produce performance reports with insights, learnings and clear recommendations for improvement
• Ensure paid media activity aligns with brand standards, compliance requirements and commercial goals
• Support integrated campaign planning across paid, owned and earned channels
• Stay current on platform updates, industry trends and new opportunities within performance marketing
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 4 -6+ years’ experience in paid media, performance marketing or digital campaign management
• Strong working knowledge of major paid media platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads and
programmatic environments
• Experience managing budgets, bidding strategies and campaign optimisation across multiple channels
• Strong analytical ability with confidence interpreting campaign data and identifying actionable insights
• Understanding of tracking, tagging, pixels, UTM structures and conversion measurement
• Experience with A/B testing and performance-led creative optimisation
• Excellent communication and reporting skills with the ability to explain performance clearly to
stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
• Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of acquisition efficiency and return on investment
• Comfortable working under pressure within fast-moving environments
• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to campaign improvement
• AppsFlyer, GA4 and attribution modelling.
