Passenger Vehicle Workshop Controller - Gauteng, Ekurhuleni

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and control daily workshop operations and workflow
• Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload
• Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repairs and services
• Manage and control job cards, labour allocation, and productivity
• Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing, and warranty compliance
• Liaise closely with service advisors, technicians, and parts department
• Monitor workshop efficiency, productivity, and turnaround times
• Maintain accurate administrative records and workshop documentation
• Support the Service Manager with reporting and KPI tracking
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and health & safety regulations

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
• Relevant automotive or workshop management qualification (advantageous)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Workshop Controller in a passenger vehicle dealership
• Strong understanding of workshop operations, servicing, and repair processes
• Experience working with dealership management systems (DMS)
• Valid driver’s licence
