Job Description:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Support the analysis of current finance processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in mapping end-to-end processes using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar platforms
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation, including SOPs and controlled process libraries
- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analysing data to support process insights and decision-making
- Help prepare reporting packs, presentations, and KPI dashboards
- Coordinate with finance teams to schedule workshops, testing sessions, and feedback discussions
- Assist in preparing training materials, user guides, and change communication documentation
- Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification
- Support the adoption of new systems, tools, and process methodologies
- Contribute ideas and insights to drive efficiency and enhance overall finance operations
Skills & Experience: - Basic understanding of finance or business processes
- Data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets essential; Power BI a plus)
- Experience with process mapping tools or workflow diagrams
Qualification:- A degree in Finance or a related field
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles would be advantageous
An Engineering degree or Master’s is also considered, provided the candidate has relevant experience within a finance environment.
