Company and Job Description: My client is looking for a Product and Growth Specialist to join their team at a critical early stage. This is one of those rare IT jobs where you’ll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and growth, owning the roadmap while directly influencing go-to-market success.
Initially, your focus will be deeply product-driven: defining features, working closely with engineering and design, and taking full ownership of delivery. As the product moves toward launch, your role evolves into growth, driving strategy, optimizing funnels, and helping shape how the product lands in the market.
You’ll be working directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving, startup-style environment, where ideas are implemented quickly and impact is visible. This role offers genuine ownership, exposure to both product and commercial strategy, and the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the product roadmap, aligning features with business goals and user needs
Translate requirements into clear product specifications for engineering and design
Drive end-to-end delivery, including sprint planning, tracking, and cross-team coordination
Conduct user research and define success metrics to guide product decisions
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives post-launch
Optimise the full growth funnel (acquisition, activation, retention, revenue, referral)
Job Experience and Skills Required:Education
Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a technology or product-focused field
Experience
3–6 years in product management, product ownership, or a related
information technology job Experience owning a product roadmap and managing delivery end-to-end
Exposure to or strong interest in growth, go-to-market strategy, or startup environments
Skills
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making ability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with product-led growth and frameworks like AARRR
Experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, or Notion is advantageous
