We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, maintaining records, and ensuring the timely supply of materials and goods required for smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
  • Compare prices and negotiate cost-effective purchasing terms.
  • Coordinate with the stores and accounts departments for proper documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or OND/HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Two to three years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or storekeeping.

  • Good communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
