Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of manufactured and fabricated equipment
- Perform supplier inspections both locally and internationally
- Oversee processes including welding, fabrication, machining, coating, heat treatment, and NDE
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Monitor and report on project progress and expediting activities
- Compile and issue accurate inspection and progress reports
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and project teams on quality matters
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Minimum 5+ years in QA/QC within fabrication or manufacturing environments
- Experience working on construction or industrial sites
- Strong knowledge of:
- Fabrication and welding processes
- Machining and heat treatment
- Working knowledge of industry codes: AWS, ASME, EN ISO
- Experience reviewing and verifying:
- WPS, PQR, WQR documentation
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 3834 quality standards
