Job description

  • We are seeking energetic, target-driven Regional Sales Marketers to drive product distribution, market penetration, vendor management, and sales growth across assigned territories within Lagos and surrounding regions.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong field sales ability, excellent relationship management skills, and the capacity to manage vendors, sub-dealers, and retail distribution channels effectively.
  • The role requires aggressive market expansion, daily sales reporting, customer acquisition, cash collection coordination, and achievement of monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive daily and monthly sales within assigned territory
  • Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets
  • Develop and manage vendors, sub-dealers, and retail outlets
  • Conduct market activations and product demonstrations
  • Expand product visibility and market penetration
  • Identify and onboard new customers and distribution channels
  • Monitor stock movement within assigned territory
  • Coordinate product deliveries and replenishment
  • Ensure prompt collection and reconciliation of sales proceeds
  • Submit daily sales and field activity reports
  • Monitor competitor activities and market pricing
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and repeat sales
  • Ensure compliance with company pricing and operational policies
  • Manage assigned routes and customer database efficiently

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND/HND/BSc qualification
  • Previous FMCG or field marketing experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
  • Good knowledge of Lagos markets and surrounding areas
  • Must be energetic, disciplined, and result-oriented
  • Ability to manage vendors and retail relationships
  • Basic reporting and record-keeping ability

  • Strong street-market intelligence
  • Ability to build distributor and vendor networks
  • Trustworthy with strong accountability culture
  • Experience in activation or route-to-market sales is an advantage
