Role Purpose
The Relationship Manager – Bancassurance provides strategic leadership for bancassurance partnerships and drives growth within the Retail Department. The role focuses on customer acquisition, channel expansion, and strengthening relationships while delivering affordable and reliable health insurance solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
Oversee and strengthen bancassurance partnerships with banks and financial institutions
Collaborate with internal teams to align activities with customer acquisition goals
Track KPIs including sales volumes, digital conversion rates, and retention
Manage bancassurance and digital channel budgets
Use CRM systems, digital analytics, and Microsoft Office tools
Lead and mentor the bancassurance team
Coordinate training programs for bank staff
Strategic & Governance Responsibilities
Engage with external partners to drive innovation
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies
Maintain proper documentation of insurance and bancassurance activities
Uphold ethical sales practices
Drive employee engagement and high-performance culture
Manage conflicts and ensure teams meet performance targets

Qualifications & Experience
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field
Master’s degree or professional qualifications (e.g. AKIB, Insurance Certifications) is an added advantage
Experience
3–5 years in bancassurance or insurance sales
Proven track record in sales delivery and digital channel performance
Experience in analytics and stakeholder management
Strong leadership and process improvement capabilities
