A leading auditing/financial company is seeking a student or graduate accountant to fulfil a SAIPA Learnership at their company in Wynberg, Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
Capture and process financial transactions
Assist with bookkeeping and reconciliations
Prepare tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
Assist with drafting financial statements
Support monthly and year-end accounting tasks
Maintain client files and accounting records
Use accounting software (e.g. Sage/Pastel/Xero)
Provide admin and client support
Attend SAIPA training and develop professional skills
Requirements:
Based in Cape Town (Wynberg area or willing to relocate)
BCom Accounting / Financial Accounting (or final year)
Must have completed Accounting 3 (or currently completing it)
Strong academic record & interest in accounting
Good computer skills (Excel & accounting software advantageous)
Keen to complete SAIPA articles and build an accounting career
Good communication, professionalism & willingness to learn
Ideally unemployed or available to start soon
