Position Overview
Umodzi Plus Enterprise is seeking a results-oriented and highly disciplined Sales and Marketing Officer to spearhead its commercial expansion in the beverage sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the company’s market penetration strategy, managing client relationships, and ensuring the consistent achievement of ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Management
- Oversee daily field operations, including the systematic auditing of retail outlets, wholesale partners, and prospective distribution points.
Strategic Sales Growth
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase market share within assigned territories.
Brand Positioning
- Ensure optimal product placement and visibility within retail environments through effective stakeholder engagement.
Performance Metrics
- Execute daily sales strategies to achieve and exceed defined sales volume targets.
Market Intelligence
- Provide detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback to support business decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Professional Discipline
- Proven ability to operate independently with high levels of self-motivation in field-based roles.
Communication Skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Market Acumen
- Solid understanding of FMCG distribution dynamics and retail sales processes.
Operational Readiness
- Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule within the region to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the beverage or FMCG industry.
- A Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed measurable sales targets.
- A valid driver’s license.
