Sales Assistant

REPORTS TO:

Sales Manager or any other designated Officer

For: Guidance, support and decision making on Sales related issues, especially operational activities.

JOB PURPOSE:

To be responsible to the Sales Manager for monitoring the flow of customers in the showroom and more especially to

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       monitor the flow of customers in the showroom

·       assist sales personnel in the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department and in completing the administrative procedures in the sales and delivery of vehicles

·       coordinate with incoming customers for professional sales service and maintain business relations

·       direct customers to Sales Representatives for technical information, whenever necessary

·       participate in sales promotional activities

·       Use appropriate software system to initiate sales quotations, input customer data and keeping and retrieving of customer data

·       Ensure that test drive vehicles are in good running conditions and parked accordingly

·       Provide support to the Sales team in achieving their sales objectives

·       To perform other relevant duties.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internally:

• Sales Manager, Sales Leader, sales team, sales and Marketing staff, VLC Staff, CR Staff; Other departments (Internal Customers: Finance, HR, Service, Parts, IT)

Externally:

• Competitors, Suppliers, High profile customers, Fleet Customers, Individual customers, Marketing and advertising agencies, Insurance agencies, NTA and other government organisations.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

·       be holder of Higher School Certificate, or equivalent

·       be proficient on CRM Dynamic and Microsoft outlook.

·       be proficient in working on computers and ability to capture the sales process and required information timely and accurately.

·       have good communication and interpersonal skills and customer oriented

·       pay attention to details

·       be holder of a valid car driving license
