Employment Information

We are seeking a driven and technically strong Sales Engineer to join a leading organisation within the industrial engineering sector.
This is a field-based role focused on distributor management, technical solution selling, and growing market share within the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve regional revenue and margin targets
• Manage and develop distributor and channel partner relationships
• Conduct regular customer visits (plant, site, and industrial environments)
• Provide technical product and application support to clients
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecasting discipline
• Identify new business opportunities within the region
• Ensure effective CRM usage and reporting
• Deliver professional, solution-based customer engagement

Minimum Requirements

• BSc / BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• 5–8 years’ experience in technical / industrial sales
• Experience in engineered products, rotating equipment, or industrial solutions
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel extensively (±70%)
