Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Lagos. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand technical requirements, propose suitable Well completion and Drilling solutions, and prepare detailed quotations and technical presentations.
  • He will identify, pursue, and secure Drilling + Well Completions projects from IOCs, indigenous operators, marginal field owners, and EPCs.
  • Track upcoming drilling campaigns, workover programs, and completions opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, solution-focused proposals.
  • Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including building relationships, managing client expectations, and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in the Energy, Oil and Gas, or Well completions and Drilling sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented and results-driven approach.
  • Comfort working on-site and in field environments, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects or client accounts concurrently.
  • Existing relationships with decision makers in Drilling and Completions services.
  • Strong technical + commercial acumen. Can read AFEs, scopes of work, and translate them into winning bids
