Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy - Sales Executive Hotel (Conference Driven) - Position to be based in Gauteng Requirements Minimum 3–5 years’ sales experience within the hospitality or conferencing industry. Strong; established corporate client base and database in Gauteng is essential. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Self-motivated; target-driven, and able to work independently. Strong understanding of conference and events operations. A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred). Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Knowledge of market trends, competition, and hotel industry regulations. Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. Valid driver's license, own reliable motor vehicle and the ability to travel as required and be away from home for days at a time. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates for the hotel. Proactively source and secure conference, meetings, and corporate event business. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, PCOs, and travel agents. Leverage an existing database and network to generate consistent leads and business opportunities. Conduct site inspections, presentations, and client proposals to showcase hotel facilities. Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales process from enquiry to closing. Collaborate with operations and events teams to ensure seamless execution of booked conferences. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and provide regular sales reporting.
