Responsibilties
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into clients to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Promote the company's technical services, procurement solutions, manpower support, engineering services, maintenance solutions, and other specialized offerings.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update opportunity tracking reports.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and commercial meetings to secure new business.
- Support the implementation of sales and business development strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including procurement personnel, project managers, engineers, and key decision-makers.
- Leverage professional networks and industry contacts to identify and develop commercial opportunities.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular follow-up activities to strengthen relationships and identify additional business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate client records and engagement history.
Market Intelligence & Commercial Support:
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence and provide commercial feedback to management.
- Identify customer requirements and communicate opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
- Assist in preparing sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and market reports.
Tendering & Proposal Support:
- Monitor tender opportunities, RFQs, and procurement requests from clients.
- Support the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
- Assist in coordinating bid documentation, pricing inputs, and tender submissions.
- Participate in commercial discussions and contract negotiations under management guidance.
- Liaise with operations, procurement, and technical teams to develop competitive solutions.
Product / Service Presentation & Technical Sales:
- Deliver professional and persuasive presentations on the company's products and services.
- Clearly communicate technical capabilities, value propositions, and commercial benefits to clients.
- Understand client operational challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
- Promote the company's brand, capabilities, and service offerings in a professional manner.
Qualification/Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' sales or business development experience within the upstream oil and gas, engineering, or energy services sector.
- Demonstrated understanding of upstream oil and gas operations, procurement processes, and service offerings.
- Experience in tendering, proposal preparation, and commercial engagements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Sound knowledge of oil and gas products, services, and industry practices.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
