About the Opportunity

Motus Mahindra Paarl is seeking a motivated, customer-focused and results-driven Parts Sales Representative to join our Parts Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling genuine parts and accessories to existing and prospective customers, building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail, workshop and trade customers.
  • Promote and sell genuine parts and accessories to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical product support.
  • Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain ongoing contact with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Manager to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
  • Follow up on quotations and outstanding customer enquiries.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports and activity logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and manufacturer standards.
  • Participate in promotional activities and sales campaigns to drive business growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum 2 years' sales experience within the automotive industry, preferably in Parts Sales.
  • Sound knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a customer portfolio effectively.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and dealership management systems.
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
  • Experience within a dealership or automotive parts environment.
  • Knowledge of Mahindra or other automotive brands.
