The External Sales Representative will take full ownership of the Garden Route territory, focusing on managing existing distribution accounts, securing new business, and driving brand presence across the region. This is an active, on-the-road position requiring a high degree of independence.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and consistently meet targets within the designated Garden Route territory.
- Regularly visit electrical wholesalers, distributors, and hardware stores to maintain strong brand visibility.
- Build and sustain strong relationships at all levels, from counter staff to branch managers and buyers.
- Actively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Present tailored product solutions to customers and effectively negotiate commercial deals.
- Manage and take responsibility for provided tools of trade, including a company vehicle.
- Attend networking workshops and events (Breakfast runs, Golf days, ECA meetings / client birthdays etc
Requirements- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of external sales experience (3+ years preferred), with a proven track record in relationship management and territory growth.
- Full professional proficiency in both Afrikaans and English is essential to service this region.
- Valid South African driver’s licence with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
- Absolute willingness to travel extensively across George and the surrounding Garden Route areas.
- Basic computer literacy and previous experience utilizing CRM or sales reporting tools.
- Previous sales experience or technical exposure within the electrical, lighting, hardware, or tools industry is highly advantageous.

Remuneration- R15 000 - R17 000 basic salary per month + commission
