Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ accounting experience.
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly essential.
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and management accounts.
- Manage payroll processing and statutory remittances.
- Monitor school fees collection and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare budgets and support financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and relevant stakeholders as required.
