MULTIPLE FARM & POULTRY VACANCIES

We are seeking hardworking, reliable and committed individuals to join our growing poultry and farming operations.

We currently have the following vacancies:

1. SECURITY GUARD – 2 POSITIONS

Key Responsibilities:

• Protect company property, livestock, equipment and premises.
• Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors and vehicles.
• Conduct regular patrols of the farm and surrounding areas.
• Maintain security records and report any incidents promptly.
• Ensure compliance with farm security procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous security experience preferred.
• Good physical fitness and alertness.
• Honest, responsible and trustworthy.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

2. GENERAL POULTRY WORKER – 3 POSITIONS

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily poultry farm operations.
• Feed and provide water to birds.
• Clean and maintain poultry houses and equipment.
• Assist with collection, handling and storage of eggs where applicable.
• Monitor birds and report illness, injury or unusual behaviour.
• Assist with vaccination, medication and other routine poultry activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and biosecurity standards.

Requirements:

• Previous poultry or farm experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and willing to perform manual work.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness.

3. POULTRY VETERINARIAN / POULTRY VET – 1 POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide veterinary oversight for the poultry operation.
• Monitor flock health and identify diseases and health risks.
• Develop and oversee vaccination and disease-prevention programmes.
• Diagnose and manage poultry health problems.
• Advise on nutrition, biosecurity and flock management.
• Maintain appropriate veterinary and flock health records.
• Work with farm staff to maintain high standards of poultry health and welfare.
• Investigate mortality and production issues and recommend corrective action.

Requirements:

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Relevant registration/licensing to practise in Zambia.
• Experience in poultry production or poultry veterinary practice is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of poultry diseases, vaccination and biosecurity.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work hands-on with farm management and poultry staff.

4. FARM WORKER – 2 POSITIONS

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general farm duties and maintenance.
• Assist with planting, weeding, harvesting and other agricultural activities as required.
• Maintain farm grounds, tools and equipment.
• Assist with livestock and poultry-related activities when required.
• Load, unload and move farm materials and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the farm.
• Perform other general farm duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Previous farm or agricultural experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Hardworking, reliable and disciplined.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
