Summary
The Security Officer will play a critical role in protecting the company’s personnel, property, facilities, and visitors through proactive monitoring, access management, incident prevention, and the consistent enforcement of security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and regulate access to company premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
- Conduct routine patrols and security inspections to identify and address potential security risks.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and security-related activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, breaches, emergencies, and other safety concerns.
- Report suspicious behavior, security threats, and any irregular activities to management.
- Enforce company security policies, procedures, and access control measures at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and support emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination SSCE.
- Prior experience in a security role will be an advantage.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to accurately document and report incidents.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and physical fitness required to perform security duties effectively.
