Job Vacancy: Security Supervisor (Dual Rider/Driver)

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant, proactive, and highly mobile Security Supervisor to oversee our daily security operations and personnel. In this role, you will be actively leading from the ground. The ideal candidate must be an exceptional team leader who is equally comfortable conducting perimeter patrols on a motorbike or dispatching to locations in an operational vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and deploy security guards across various posts, ensuring strict adherence to company security protocols.
Mobile Patrols & Rapid Response: Conduct regular, unpredictable patrols of premises, perimeters, and satellite locations using both company cars and motorcycles.
Incident Management: Respond swiftly to alarms, security breaches, or operational emergencies, taking immediate control of the situation and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
Inspections & Audits: Conduct routine inspections of guard posts to ensure high levels of alertness, proper uniforming, and strict logbook accuracy.
Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed daily shift logs, weekly updates, and incident reports to management.
Fleet Care: Ensure assigned operational vehicles and motorcycles are kept clean, well-maintained, and fueled, reporting any mechanical faults immediately.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Crucial Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid, clean Zimbabwean Driver’s License with both Class 3 (Motorbike) and Class 4 (Light Motor Vehicle) endorsements. Proof of competency for both riding and driving will be practically tested during the interview panel stage.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the security industry, with at least 2 years served in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Riding & Driving Skills: Proven ability to safely ride a motorbike and drive a light motor vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions.
Education: Minimum of 5 O-Levels or equivalent. Professional security certifications, or a background in the police/military services, will be a distinct advantage.
Core Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
Excellent crisis management, conflict-resolution, and command skills.
High level of physical fitness, alertness, and agility.
Basic computer literacy for generating digital shift reports.
