Responsibilities

  • Review and/or perform bookkeeping and accounting support services for clients
  • Filing and/or review of PAYE, NHIS, NHF, WHT, VAT, CIT, and other statutory submissions
  • Handling inquiries from clients and providing practical accounting and tax support
  • Visiting client offices and building strong client relationships where required
  • Managing and reviewing the work of internal staff where applicable
  • Verifying the interpretation of tax legislation, FIRS requirements, and practical guidelines
  • Collecting receipts or uploading receipts to cloud storage
  • Providing administrative support for the company and clients, including company registration, statutory filings, banking-related procedures, document collection, and other administrative matters
  • Consulting and advisory support for clients and internal projects
  • Sales and marketing, including business development support for accounting, tax, and advisory services
  • Providing support for due diligence (DD), M&A-related projects, and other advisory assignments when required
  • Performing any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as requested by Management from time to time


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Qualified Certified Public Accountant in Nigeria
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting/tax experience
  • Experience with PAYE, NHIS, NHF, WHT, VAT, and CIT filings
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • QuickBooks experience is preferable
  • Strong communication and client handling skills
