Employment Information

  • As a Senior Analyst, Institutional Sales, you will serve as a Sales & Client Executive within the Securities Trading business, focused on institutional clients including Pension Fund Administrators PFAs, insurance companies, corporates, fintech companies, and asset managers without stockbroking affiliates.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for driving business growth through new client acquisition while managing and expanding existing relationships. S/he will have direct client coverage responsibilities and work closely with senior sales executives and internal stakeholders across the Group to identify and execute strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and win new business opportunities from institutional clients across the pension, insurance, corporate, fintech, and asset management sectors.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients while promoting cross-selling opportunities across the Group's investment products and services.
  • Prepare high-quality pitch books, presentations, Request for Proposals RFPs, market updates, and other client-facing materials, ensuring compliance with the firm's branding and communication standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams across Investment Banking, Asset Management, Operations, and other business units to deliver exceptional client solutions and service.
  • Develop and maintain strong industry and market expertise to identify opportunities and provide value-added insights to clients.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify emerging trends, prospective clients, and business opportunities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide periodic reports on client activities, business development efforts, and deal progress.
  • Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and conferences to strengthen relationships and enhance market visibility.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS, or progress towards obtaining them will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Institutional Sales, Sales & Trading, Investment Management, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, or related client relationship roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with institutional investors and corporate clients.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products.

  • Sound knowledge of financial markets, traditional asset classes, and alternative investment products.

  • Ability to identify innovative solutions that address client needs while managing risk.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an institutional, collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on business development and revenue generation.
