- The Senior Audit Associate will be responsible for performing assigned internal audit projects as part of the overall internal audit plan approved by the audit committee.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentations.
- Monitors and reports noncompliance to company policies and procedures
- Recommend process and policy improvements.
- Review expense, payments, POs and ensure propriety of transactions.
- Complete assigned audit procedures inspection, observation, confirmation, recalculation and reperformance
- Carry out impromptu visits to depots and stations to conduct spot checks and inventory and cash count.
- Prepare sufficient working paper documentation to support audit procedures performed and conclusions reached for the assigned audit review
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience in audit and risk
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline Member, Institute of Chartered Accounttants of Nigeria ICAN
