Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in the planning, geometric design, and delivery of roads and transportation infrastructure projects, including urban and rural road networks, intersections, and associated civil works.
- Strong understanding of stormwater management systems and sewer reticulation design, with the ability to develop practical and compliant engineering solutions for municipal and land development projects.
- Experience in the design, coordination, and supervision of bulk earthworks projects, including site grading, cut-and-fill assessments, and construction support.
- Demonstrated involvement in water and sanitation infrastructure projects, including bulk services, reticulation networks, and associated municipal engineering works.
- Sound knowledge of contract administration and project management principles, with experience overseeing project delivery, managing stakeholders, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D for civil engineering design, modelling, and documentation across a variety of infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for the preparation and review of technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
- Experience using Model Maker or similar civil engineering design and modelling platforms to support project planning, analysis, and design development.
Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or BSc Civil Engineering).
- Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) will be advantageous.
- A minimum of five years' relevant civil engineering experience gained within consulting engineering, infrastructure development, municipal services, or related project environments.
