A company in the engineering and manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Design Draughtsperson to join their Drawing Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, NC programs, and manufacturing documentation for industrial air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The role requires strong technical drafting abilities, attention to detail, and experience with design software and production processes.
Requirements:- Grade 12 (Technical or CAD drawing subjects advantageous)
- Draughting Diploma or Certificate
- 3D Software Certificate advantageous
- 5–7 years’ experience in a draughting/design environment
- Strong experience with Solid Edge, Revit, and AutoCAD
- Experience with nesting software and NC programming
- Knowledge of industrial air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
- HVAC knowledge advantageous
- Experience with reverse engineering and manufacturing drawings
- Ability to create and update 3D models, cutting lists, and engineering documentation
- Ability to conduct site measurements and liaise with suppliers
- Strong understanding of quality and safety standards
