Senior Industrial Automation Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation systems
• Take technical responsibility for complex automation projects from concept through to commissioning
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with relevant engineering standards and client specifications
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers within the automation team
• Review system designs, code, and documentation to ensure quality and consistency
• Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems on site and remotely
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial automation engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens automation platforms
• Proven experience leading or taking ownership of automation projects
• Ability to mentor and technically support other engineers
• BEng or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
