Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior IT Project Manager based in Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science, Electronic/Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in professional software development and engineering on large, complex projects.
- Project management certificate.
- Application of Agile Project Management principles.
- Knowledge and experience in:
- Agile Project Management on large, complex IT projects
- Multitasking and working under pressure.
- Planning and time management.
- Experience in DevOps, automation, integration, open source software, information security, etc. would be advantageous.
KPAs:
- Perform Project Management on complex IT projects in a matrix environment.
- Work across disciplines with researchers and experts to develop high-technology software solutions for clients.
- Contribute technically on large and complex projects, using cutting-edge technology and innovative designs.
- Form part of an agile team of software developers or engineers, delivering working software solutions.
- Lead a team of architects and lead developers for high-level system design and participate in development that translates those design into working systems.
