We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mine Planner to join our mining operation based in Burgersfort. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising mine plans to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in:
  • Mining Engineering
  • Geology
  • Mine Surveying
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mine planning within the mining industry
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in:
  • CAD software
  • Mine planning and data management tools
  • Mining software applications
• Sound understanding of mining operations, scheduling, and production planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and reporting abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop short-term and long-term mine plans
• Monitor production performance against mine plans
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to support operational decisions
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and legal standards
• Collaborate with production, geology, and survey departments
• Optimise mine designs and schedules for operational efficiency
